AFRME
Process

From reservation to roof.

Six steps. Who does what at each one, and how long it takes. Reservations are open now and cost nothing; deposits stay refundable until production is scheduled. First homes ship in 2027.

  1. Step 1 · Now, no payment

    Reserve

Tell us the model, where you want to build and when. You get a slot number in the 2027 schedule and a design call. Nothing to pay today.

    You
    Complete the pre-order form.
    Us
Confirm your slot and delivery region within five working days.
  2. Step 2 · 2 weeks

    Design call

A working session on your site, the model, options and a realistic budget for the whole build, not just the structure. You leave knowing what your home will cost.

    You
Share your site: access, ground, services, climate, planning rules.
    Us
Feasibility notes, a cost schedule and a recommended scope for the System.
  3. Step 3 · 8 to 12 weeks

    Engineering and permits

Drawings and calculations are adapted to your site's loads and your jurisdiction's requirements, ready for a local stamp.

    You
Appoint a local engineer if a stamp is required; submit the permit.
    Us
Full drawing set, structural calculations, one round of revisions.
  4. Step 4 · 8 to 12 weeks

    Production

Frames are cut on CNC, panels are assembled and insulated, metal is folded and glazing is made to order, all in one factory.

    You
Deposit at scheduling, production payment at start.
    Us
Weekly progress notes and a fixed ship week.
  5. Step 5 · 1 to 3 trucks

    Delivery

The System arrives flat-packed, numbered and wrapped, in assembly order.

    You
Foundation complete and signed off; a forklift or crane on the day.
    Us
Delivery sequence, unloading plan and the assembly guide.
  6. Step 6 · Days to weeks

    Assembly

Frames and connectors first, then roof cassettes and wall panels, then the window modules. A Studio is weather-tight within a week; the One and the Two within three to six weeks.

    You
Site access and a level place for the crew to work.
    Us
The AFRME crew builds it, start to finish, and hands over weather-tight.
A building site before construction: survey stakes and string lines in long grass, rolled drawings, a fresh strip foundation
Step 3: the site is set out while the drawings go through permitting.
Inside a weather-tight AFRME shell: exposed frames with AFRME structural connectors, roof cassettes on, window modules installed and lining boards stacked
Step 6: weather-tight. Frames, connectors, cassettes and the window module in place; the lining goes on next.

Percentages and dates are published with pricing to reservation holders.

Reserve a 2027 build slot.

Free, and not a commitment. A reservation holds your place in the production schedule and gets you pricing and System details before anyone else.
